Biography

Carl joined PNNL in 1991 and his research projects include experimental multi-phase fluid mechanics, numerical simulation of thermal hydraulic systems, and international collaborations for spent fuel analyses and equipment design and testing. He has worked as a technical contributor, a test engineer, instructor, and a project manager. Mr. Enderlin has performed mechanical and system design, analyses in the area of heat transfer and fluid mechanics, experimental design, data analysis, course development, and equipment evaluations. Mr. Enderlin has expertise also in flammable gas assessments and analysis for Hanford waste tanks, development of instrumentation for Hanford waste tanks, technology assessments for the DOE complex, and evaluation and consultation for waste retrieval systems proposed for the Department of Energy waste tanks.
